Barking Mad make original, quirky gift cards for all occasions. Artist Crispin Korschen’s
world is full of tall and spindly happy-go-lucky characters traversing surreal backgrounds
but the message is always clear enough whether it’s a simple “I love you” or something
more complex. Well organised, with a team on the ground to handle sales and manufacturing,
the Barking Mad website is both a shopping cart site where gifts can be ordered

Like most of our customers we’re a small business on a mission: to get our name
out there and attract new customers. Almost all of our marketing is online but recently
we thought we’d give our fish some wings and a bit of air time. We’re hopeful that

First up: a few tips on using social media sites like Facebook
to increase traffic to your online store. To use a fishy metaphor: rather than casting
your rod out and hoping for a bite, by taking advantage of the (mostly) free social
media sites and marketing tools out there, you can do some serious deep sea trawling.
